Release: UZURIG 2.6.11

In this update, we focused primarily on usability improvements.
For the Setup Tool and Shape / Axis Editor, we reviewed registration workflows and UI behavior, making everyday rigging tasks smoother and more efficient.

We also fixed errors that occurred when using AxisData and SetupPose with external files, improving the stability and reliability of configuration data management.

In addition, we added highly requested templates for UE MetaHuman and Echo, making it easier for more users to get started quickly.

Please see the details below.

Changes

Module

  • virtual_generic_fk – Added an option to align generated controller orientations to world space.

  • universal_fk_01 – Added an option to align generated controller orientations to world space.

Core

  • Fixed an issue where manually removing the LocalRotation entry from an AxisData JSON file caused a load error.

  • Fixed a namespace mismatch issue that occurred when importing SetupPose data after exporting it as an external file.

Setup Tool

  • Changed the behavior of bone and node registration buttons from Overwrite to Add.

  • When clicking a rig module item on the left while the Settings panel is open, the Settings panel is now closed and the parameter panel related to the selected rig module is activated.

  • Improved behavior when pressing the module Add button (plus icon) while no uzuSetupNode exists.
The tool now internally performs New before adding the module.

  • Changed item label alignment to right-aligned to improve UI readability.

Ctrl Shape / Axis Editor

  • Converted all buttons to uzu.cmd commands.
When a button is pressed, an executable command log (copy-and-paste ready) is now output to the Script Editor.

  • Added a new “YZMirror (Module)” button under the Shape category, allowing YZ mirroring on a per-module basis.
This is useful when mirroring multiple FK controllers at once, such as finger modules.
