Release: UZURIG 2.5.8

In this update, we’ve added new control variations for the elbow (knee) in the arm_ik and leg_ik modules.
Previously, only the up-vector type control was available, but now you can also use a single-axis rotation control method.
These control methods can be switched via attributes after the rig is generated.

Other minor fixes and adjustments are listed below.

変更点

Module

  • arm_ik | leg_ik – Added the ability to switch the orientation control of the second bone between UPV (position) and Roll (rotation).

  • arm_ik | leg_ik – Improved performance by changing the auxiliary UPV guide line (NURBS curve) to reference local space instead of world space.

  • spline_ik – Added the same “tip fk is no affected” option available in mspline_ik.

  • Fixed an issue where some modules could not be applied to the root joint.

  • Allowed multiple applications (stacking) of the visibility_switcher function used within module code.

Setup Tool

Sample Rig Scene

The version of the sample rig scene has been updated to v7.
This version contains rigs that have been rebuilt with the latest updates.

If you try to open older sample rig scenes (v3 or earlier) with the latest version of UZURIG2, they may not load correctly due to plugin version differences. Please use the v7 scenes instead.
